Subject: HELLO L.G. COOK SUMMER STAFF 2018!!! 🌟
WARNING: Kind of lengthy, but UBER important. Must read in its entirety!
Hey y'all,
Nelson here — your Assistant Summer Director — coming in hot with your official "summer's almost here!" email. Words can’t describe how excited I am to kick off this adventure called camp with each and every one of you.
Sure, Facebook polls and memes are fun, but NOTHING beats singing songs, swimming, and watching kids shove their faces into pasta... together in the woods. Whether you're an L.G. Cook vet or joining us for your first summer, I’m beyond stoked to make some mem gems (camp memories!) alongside you.
Staff Training starts: Sunday, June 24th @ 2PM sharp
Arrival window: Between 12PM and 1PM — this gives you time to settle in, reunite, or meet your bunkmates!
⚠️ Note: Rec and International staff — your arrival timeline may differ. A separate email will come your way soon with those details.
Packing:
You’ll be living with 1–2 peers, so try to pack light(ish) but smart — enough to live comfortably from June 24 to August 18. You’ll be onsite full-time outside your 41-hour weekend breaks.
Attached: A Packing Essentials checklist. Ask yourself: “Will I wish I had this on Week 6?”
