Once your Roundtable is rolling, the key to long-term success is creating real opportunities for contribution. Not everyone has time to attend every meeting—but nearly everyone can take on a small project that aligns with their interests, skills, or growth goals.
🪄 Project Menu
Examples:
- Rewriting or editing the staff handbook
- Designing camper curriculum or activity guides
- Creating onboarding slide decks or videos
- Researching new staff role models (e.g. floaters, assistants)
- Planning social events or alumni newsletters
- Running or contributing to the camp’s Instagram or TikTok
- Analyzing camper/staff surveys to improve experience
🎯 Tip: Let participants propose their own project ideas—buy-in is stronger when it starts with them.
📂 Subgroup Structures
Structure project teams around themes. This builds momentum, community, and ongoing ownership.
Example Subgroups:
- Curriculum & Program Team – activities, theme days, camper experience
- Marketing & Digital Media Team – content, strategy, social presence
- Staffing & Culture Team – hiring, onboarding, role structure
- Camper Care & Inclusion Team – accessibility, wellness, DEI
Each team can meet independently and present monthly updates to the full Roundtable.
